Rose Tor Hotel - Llandudno

What a gem! We received a warm welcome, and our lovely clean room provided the best night's sleep in a long time, thanks to the fabulous bed. While the bathroom was quite small, it was spotless. The buffet breakfast had a fantastic selection,...  

Good service, budget room with good breakfast, an electric shower plus a non existent mattress. Prime very central location and efficient and decent staff.

The hotel needs an overhaul.

The rooms were warm and the bathrooms were upgraded. It was a minute walk from Watkins Restaurant, where you can have lunch.

The location is great and the staff are super friendly, always ready to help. Breakfast offers a decent selection, although the quality could be improved. My room needed some TLC; It was a bit dated and chilly, but overall,...

Very friendly greeting, lots of local information. All staff extremely efficient, very pleasant atmosphere. Food wonderful, and lots of it. Room clean, lots of space, modern interiors. We were in two minds whether to give a bad review so we can keep...  

The hotel was central to beach shops and restaurants. There was always lots of hot water and the central heating was great.

I felt it was a bit old fashioned and could do with a fresh coat of paint.

Good sevice och personal, a good full breakfast and good value for the price you pay.

We had a rough start; the bathroom was moldy and dirty, with gross stains everywhere. Plus, the bed linens had chewing gum stuck to them! It was completely unacceptable and made for an uncomfortable stay overall. So disappointing!...  

the location

the food, we travelled for nearly 4 hours(stuck in traffic) arrived approx 8.30pm they had stopped serving food so then had to find a place to eat.very hard bed and noisy at night

On one of the days we were there we visited Anglesey{not to spy on the newly weds as we knew they were in Canada] but to visit places we had taken our children to 40 years ago.. The island is still very beautiful. Another day we visited the Bodnant Gardens wonderful....  

great experience but small touches missed

The staff were really good. Each meal offered a variety of choices that catered to different tastes which was particularly appreciated.

I would have liked to see some small brands for jams and sauces instead of the bulk offerings.

The only downside was the front facing rooms were very noisy at night, no fault of the hotel, public houses open later consequently noisy.

Great breakfast, comfy bed and great location for shops and beach.

Room dated and just a little TLC would make a big difference. Bathroom very small, towels very hard! and no towel rail or hooks for hanging your towels after use. Was woken up about 4 times in the early hours by couple next door arguing.

I enjoyed a pleasant breakfast, where the staff were attentive and made sure everything was to my liking. The warm atmosphere reminded me of my visits back home in London. It was nice to chat with the staff as they served us coffee and eggs....
